Reykjavík is the world’s northernmost capital City a vibrant cultural and design scene, with plenty of exciting things to do throughout your stay.

#Reykjavík’s town centre is relatively small, which makes it easy to explore on foot.




Laugavegur is one of the oldest streets in Reykjavík.

Its name roughly translates to ‘the Water Road’, as it was where women used to bring their laundry to be washed in the hot pools.

#Laugavegur is home to a wealth of shops, restaurants and bars, all appealing to different tastes. Why not try the best Icelandic soup in town!



is one of the most iconic and instantly recognisable buildings in Iceland. At 74.5 metres high, it is the largest church in Iceland and among the tallest structures in the country.




Sun Voyager is a sculpture, located on the sea front. It is described as a dreamboat, or an ode to the sun.

The artist intended it to convey the promise of undiscovered territory, a dream of hope, progress and freedom.



Here you can enjoy a stroll by the seaside and marvel the view of the bay with mt. #Esja in the background.

There are a few major supermarkets in Iceland but the one we found cheapest is #Bónus supermarket,



It is perhaps the best-known budget supermarket in Iceland and usually offers the cheapest products – even the locals we chatted with said so!
