Nestled in the centre of Sri Lanka’s infamous hill country lies the spiritual capital of Kandy.
Tourists flock here in their thousands every year for it’s diverse blend of culture, history and landscapes.
From the serenity of it’s beautiful city lake to the tranquility of Big Buddha perched up in the hillside, which boasts magnificent views of the entire city.
Take a stroll through Kandy city bustling streets and markets and barter with the locals or if that’s not your thing, simply hitch a ride in a Tuk Tuk to one of Kandy’s many other attractions.
